The electronic cigarette is not a quit smoking device or meant to aid in smoking cessation. There are many ways to stop smoking, but this isn't one of them. The vapor may also include propylene glycol, glycerin, and/or vegetable glycerin none of which are known to be carcinogens. No long term studies have been done on the electronic cigarette.
