Hard on the throat?

Postby lovestheritual on Tue Jul 01, 2008 8:53 pm

I'm extremely interested in the whole e-cigarette concept. I love the ritual of smoking and for me it's the hardest part of the whole thing to give up, but I desperately want to stop pulling poison into my lungs.

A friend of mine has tried a type of e-cigarette, but he's not sure what brand it was or anything else about it. He said that, when inhaling, the atomized nicotine was fairly unpleasant on the back of his throat in a burny sorta way. Again, he's not sure whether this was an aspect of the liquid nic, the delivery system or the 'flavoring' if there was any.

Could anyone address this issue and whether or not it's a concern with the mini e?

Got my shipment today. Tried it out and so far no problems with soreness on the throat. It's actually pretty smooth. I will update the thread if I or my friends I get to try the electronic cigarette have any issues.

So it only took 3 business days for for you to get yours? Did you get the "regular" one or the mini?

Can you give me a more "user" oriented description (and comparison to smoking a real cigarette)?

How is the quality of the product? Sturdy? Battery life?
