Well... that's where I have been having issues. I need to get my hands on some info that states what the HPUS actually states. If you have it, I would love it! Because it does mean that nicotine would be to your calculation and I don't think that would suffice a smoker. I can't imagine it would? But, is it maybe time for HPUS and the FDA to re-evaluate this rule IF e-smoking can be 100% scientifically backed as a healthier way to smoke? Because my understanding is that the FDA can create regulations that can affect HPUS. They make the rules. Surely they can change them?

As I understand it, the HPUS actually says nicotine must be 6x to be an OTC homeopathic medicine. Doesn't this mean 1 part nicotine to 1,000,000 parts water or other solution?

I have the same understanding of the listing of nicotine...

Yes... I do... http://www.homeopathic.com/articles/view,20 AND http://www.hpus.com/regulations2.php - Both very interesting reads.

I have also learned that 5X and 6X which is where many homeopathic drugs fall is going to be way to diluted for any smoker to actually get their nicotine. So we would have to see if 1X or 2X is an option. According to one source, 1X and 2X is rarely if ever given out... so we are currently looking into why is it rarely given out?

Do you have a citation for the proposition that the electronic cigarette would have to be submitted to HPCUS with two clinical trials and samples? My understanding is that nicotine is already listed in HPCUS.
